Disperse Heat Transfer Printing June 16 2018

I will be teaching a workshop in Garstang from10 - 4 on Saturday June 16 2018. You will learn how to use Disperse Heat Transfer dyes to create your own fabrics. These specialist dyes are applied initially to a variety of different papers to create various effects and the dyes are then transferred from the papers to fabric using a domestic iron. Found objects such as dried grasses and cut paper stencils can then be used to act as a resist and create areas of pattern. Each participant will take home a folder of samples and some of the fabric will be used to cover and personalise a small sketchbook or notebook. Full details and booking can be found at
