This scarf has been produced by creating a length of needle felted hand dyed merino wool tops and then felting into the back of a piece of two-tone (change) velvet. When filled by wet felting to finish the 2 surfaces combine to create a lovely textural organic surface with the sheen of the velvet contrasting with the soft surrounding matte surface of the felt
